PDC World Darts Championship 2019

Couldn't see a related thread so thought I'd start one.
It began yesterday with the current holder getting through a tough match against a very good opponent. Also Lisa Ashton holding her own but going down 1-3 after taking the first set.
You would want to be in the bottom half of the draw as the top seeded players are out of form.
Would have backed Adrian Lewis if he was in the bottom half but will probably side with Cross at 10/1 to reach the final again. Had a nice punt on him last year to win it at the same price before the semi-final.

Absolute no win situation for him. He was always going to be the villain if he won and ridiculed if he lost. Trina Gulliver's commentary was so ridiculously biased as well.
He did OK considering the circumstances. So did she. Great first set.

I was at the Circus Tavern for the players championship one year and a bloke near the stage kept shouting every time Adrian Lewis through a dart. Fuck this Cunt that etc. Lewis could hear this and it affected him by going out to a lesser known player.
After the match ended Lewis looked at him and the guy smiled and waved him goodbye. He then went to the Corals stall at the back of the venue, picked up bundles of notes and fucked off.
Apparently it happens a lot.
